Roath Park Bowling Club
Our club has been playing bowls, on this green, in the picturesque and beautiful surroundings of Roath Park
since 1906
Our Green is located between the tennis courts, alongside Roath Brook, and is well sign posted.
Our Ladies section was formed about 25 years ago.
Both Ladies and Men’s teams are actively involved in local leagues against similar teams in the Cardiff and surrounding area.
The men’s teams play on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, and our ladies on Tuesday evenings and Thursday afternoons.
In addition we hold competitions for various trophies, throughout the season culminating in Finals days in September.
We hold mixed social bowls sessions on Monday and Friday afternoons, to which
potential new members are welcome.
We are a happy and friendly club, and we welcome new members, male and female.
Many of our members are married couples and they find that bowls is an enjoyable outdoor pastime for them to enjoy together.
Experienced players are most welcome and coaching in the basics, is available to newcomers to the game.
We look forward to a sporting and enjoyable season, and extend a warm welcome to new members.
